Rebekah
Featuring Rebekah
The Story
Rebekah first appears beside a well, carrying her water jar with energy and kindness. Abraham's servant had prayed for a clear sign, asking that the right young woman would offer water both to him and to his camels. Rebekah did exactly that, drawing bucket after bucket until the thirsty animals were cared for. Her willing heart showed generosity before she knew why the stranger had come. When she heard that God might be leading her to become Isaac's wife, she bravely agreed to leave her home and travel to a new land. At evening she met Isaac in the field, and their marriage became part of God's covenant family. Rebekah's story shines with hospitality, courage, and readiness to follow God's leading.
Moral of the Story
Kindness and helping others can lead to wonderful blessings, and trusting in God's plan brings joy.
