Card #20
Joshua
Featuring Joshua
The Story
Joshua served for years beside Moses, learning to trust God before he ever led anyone himself. He was one of the spies who believed Israel could enter the promised land because God would go with them. After Moses died, God told Joshua to be strong and courageous, promising never to leave him. Joshua then led the people across the Jordan River when its waters stopped flowing before the ark. Soon after, he guided Israel at Jericho, where priests blew trumpets and the people shouted until the city walls fell. Joshua kept pointing the nation back to God's word and God's faithfulness. His life shows the courage of a leader who obeys step by step and believes that God's promises are stronger than any obstacle.
Moral of the Story
