The Story
Ezekiel was a priest and prophet living among the exiles when God gave him astonishing visions. He first saw the glory of the Lord with flashing fire, living creatures, and wheels that moved in every direction, reminding him that God's presence was not limited to one place. God then sent him to speak to a stubborn people who needed to hear both warning and hope. One of Ezekiel's most memorable visions placed him in a valley full of dry bones bleaching in the sun. At God's command he spoke, and the bones rattled together, grew flesh, and finally received breath from the Lord. The scene showed that God could restore a people who seemed completely lost. Ezekiel's story is strange, vivid, and full of hope for renewal.
Moral of the Story
