David

Featuring David

The Story

David was the youngest son in his family, a shepherd boy who spent long days in the fields guarding sheep and singing to God. While others saw only a boy, God saw a heart of faith and sent Samuel to anoint him. David learned courage by rescuing lambs from lions and bears, and that same trust filled him when he faced Goliath with only a sling and stones. Later he served Saul, endured years of danger, and eventually became king over Israel. He brought the ark to Jerusalem with joy and desired to honor God with his kingdom. Though David was not perfect, he kept turning back to the Lord and treasured His presence. David's story shows that God delights in hearts that trust Him deeply.

Moral of the Story
