Card #4
Abraham
Featuring Abraham
The Story
Abraham began as Abram, a man living far from the land God planned to give him. God told him to leave his home and travel to a new land, and he obeyed, walking beneath open skies with only God's promise to guide him. God promised that Abram would become a great nation, and one night He invited him to count the stars if he could, because his descendants would be that many. Years later God changed his name to Abraham and renewed His covenant with him. Abraham kept learning to trust, even when he had to wait a long time for Isaac to be born. Step by step, altar by altar, Abraham followed where God led him. His life showed that faith means following God one step at a time and believing His promises are bigger than what we can see.
Moral of the Story
Trusting and having faith in God can lead to great blessings.
